About Me

As a partner in our Finance & Financial Regulation Group in London, I offer our clients a wealth of experience and advice on complex financings in a wide range of jurisdictions.

Providing comprehensive advice to bank and borrower clients, I regularly advise on secured syndicated and bilateral lending transactions both in the UK and globally; closing cross-border acquisition financings and corporate lending transactions in Western Europe, Central Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. I also advise clients on complex project financings and have structured a number of ground breaking project financings in the energy and tech & comms sectors (for example, I have advised on project financings for both the operation and build out of solar farms in Jordan and telco network build out programmes in a number of emerging markets).

In addition I act for a number of London based banks in relation to their shar'ia compliant lending structures designed primarily to facilitate the acquisition and development of real estate.

Leading teams advising on multi-jurisdictional financings to create optimal funding and security structures, I am routinely involved in structuring and co-ordinating complex cross-border financings with multiple lenders and debt tranches. At all times I try to identify key transaction drivers and ensure that financings are completed on time and in a way that delivers value to our clients and their counterparts.

I draft and negotiate all forms of finance-related acquisition and project documentation, including acquisition and project loan agreements (both on a conventional and shar'ia compliant basis) together with sponsor support arrangements, off-take agreements, direct agreements, security documents, inter-creditor agreements and asset management agreements.
