Erik Holmgren

As a senior associate in the Corporate group, corporate law and corporate governance are my main areas of expertise.

My work primarily consists of assisting international and domestic clients in various matters related to Swedish corporate law (e.g., general meetings, acting as board secretary, new issuances, mergers, demergers and cross-border mergers), corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions, working with private as well as public companies and also listed companies. In addition, I have also spent a considerable amount of time writing legal memorandums on various complex company law issues such as, e.g., the applicability of the Swedish Companies Act's regime on prohibited loans as well as D&O liability matters.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked for other international law firms in Stockholm.

• Advised Pareto Securities in Rebellion Capital's primary issuance of shares
• Advised Sikri Holding in the acquisition of Metria AB from the Kingdom of Sweden
• Advised Diet Doctor in seed round financing
• Advised Embracer Group on several acquisitions and issuances of shares
• Advised IDEX Corporation on the acquisition of Velcora Holding, and its Roplan and Steridose businesses from FSN Capital Partners
