About Me

As a German and European patent attorney and partner in our Munich office, I represent our clients in patent law, in particular in patent opposition proceedings, nullity proceedings, infringement proceedings and in patent prosecution.

Due to my scientific background in chemistry I have a profound understanding of this technical field, and the focus of my practice is on advising in patent law relating to organic and pharmaceutical chemistry as well as in inorganic and polymer chemistry. In addition, I have significant experience in the technical field of medical devices. With this combined expertise I am able to act as a trusted advisor to a number of domestic and international companies from the pharmaceutical and chemical industry.

I have many years of experience in post-grant patent litigation proceedings. This includes opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office and nullity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court and the German Federal Supreme Court, in particular in the context of parallel patent and/or utility model infringement proceedings. My work also includes drafting patent applications and prosecuting them before the various patent offices.

Every day I am thrilled that my work gives me exciting new opportunities to discuss scientific issues in a legal context with inventors and other technical experts. Our clients appreciate my commitment, with which I support them comprehensively in all questions that arise as well as the unique international network of our firm, which enables us to offer this support wherever it is needed.
