• Advising a range of FinTechs (PSPs, EMIs, PISPs) on the drafting and negotiation of various agreements from product terms, BaaS and partner integration arrangements, white-label agreements, and other agreements for the provision of regulated payment services.
• Advising a Web3 Layer 1 blockchain protocol operator on a highly complex and strategic project relating to the roll out of a payment card linked to an underlying crypto wallet facilitating card transactions with merchants in fiat currency, including terms and conditions for the associated card management app.
• Advising a major retail brand on the launch of a new e-commerce marketplace and negotiation of the agreement with a payment services provider for the provision of streamlined payment processing services between marketplace buyers and sellers.
• Advising a global payments and technology company on new global terms and conditions for the provision of an international cross-border payment service.
• Advising a global financial services firm on a collaboration and services agreement with a third-party institutional brokerage to provide brokerage and execution services to clients of the third-party brokerage, involving the secondment of SMCR approved persons and the sharing of technology infrastructure and markets data.
