About Me

I am an associate in the Intellectual Property and Tech & Comms teams in Brussels. My work covers a wide range of legal areas, including copyright, software rights, IT contracts, community designs, trademarks, and general commercial law.

Intellectual Property, and copyright in particular, is a subject that I am passionate about. I enjoy putting my theoretical knowledge into practice by working on contentious, as well as non-contentious, matters here at Bird & Bird. I also find it extremely interesting and challenging to work with new technologies and familiarise myself with our clients' businesses.

After graduating from the University of Ghent, I obtained a specialised Master's in European law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles. During my studies, I gained legal experience by completing several internships in IP/IT departments of Bird & Bird and other international law firms based in Brussels.

My native language is Dutch, and I am fluent in English and French.
