Caitlin Cowan

I am an associate in our international corporate group in London. I advise clients on a range of corporate transactions, including M&A, venture capital, private equity, corporate reorganisations and general corporate advisory matters.

I regularly work with businesses at the cutting edge of their industries on investments and acquisitions. The firm's expertise in key areas for innovative businesses involving or supported by emerging technologies, and access to our market leading commercial, IP and AI teams, complements our corporate practice and enables us to provide current and insightful advice. The majority of the transactions I work on are cross-border in nature and involve collaboration with specialists across the firm's international network.

I enjoy working with companies, founders and investors throughout the corporate life cycle. The most rewarding part of my job is building relationships with clients who are invested in the target company's success and learning about their strategy and priorities.

I have supported clients across a number of sectors, with a particular interest in working with businesses in Media & Entertainment and Technology & Communications.

I qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in August 2023, having trained in Edinburgh with a leading Scottish firm. I passed SQE1 in January 2025 and was admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales in April 2025.
