Vince is a senior partner and the head of our Australia/Asia Real Estate practice, based in Sydney.
With over 20 years of legal experience, his strong technical skills and understanding of clients' businesses and the real estate industry inspire trust and confidence. He strives to assist clients to achieve their commercial objectives while maintaining the necessary balance between risk allocation and exposure. It is an approach which aims to deliver tailored legal services to assist clients to make informed decisions, structure transactions, pursue opportunities and finalise transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
Vince advises financial institutions, asset managers/investment trusts, property developers, investors (both foreign and domestic), corporates, landlords and tenants on all facets of real estate and infrastructure development law. He regularly works on sophisticated multi-party transactions involving acquisitions, disposals, development, subdivision titling, leasing, joint ventures, project delivery arrangements and legal due diligence of major real estate assets – across industrial, commercial, retail, rural and residential asset classes. This includes dedicated real estate transactions, distressed sales, mixed use and multi-staged developments, subdivision and titling arrangements, corporate HQ/relocations, and the real estate aspects on debt finance and M&A transactions.
Vince also advises on FIRB (foreign investment review board) requirements relating to inbound investment (direct and indirect) in Australian real estate/land.
