Sam's experience covers a range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters
Sam is an associate in our Intellectual Property Group based in London.
He has been involved in a range of matters relating to trade marks, copyright, and patents. His experience includes acting for a pharmaceutical company engaged in patent litigation in jurisdictions across the world, assisting with trade mark matters for a world-leading technology company, and High Court litigation relating to software copyright infringement. Sam has also acted for clients on a broad range of intellectual property transactions.
In 2016, Sam was seconded to our Sydney office where he assisted the Intellectual Property Group in a range of trade mark and passing off matters.
He has contributed to various legal publications and articles, with a particular focus on technology, intellectual property and Brexit.
Sam graduated from Mansfield College, University of Oxford and subsequently completed a law conversion course. He joined us as a trainee in 2014 and qualified in 2016.
