Pieter's considerable experience spans all aspects of individual and collective employment law, including compliance issues; works council and industrial relations matters; remuneration and benefits; and social security aspects.
Pieter is a partner in our International HR Services group, based in Brussels.
He has more than thirty years' experience of advising on issues relating to employment and benefits, including high profile employment litigation, boardroom advisory work, change management, industrial relations, compliance and reward issues.
Pieter studied law and philosophy at KU Brussels (1977) and KU Leuven (1980), European law at UC Louvain-la-Neuve (1981) and he obtained an LL.M. at Northwestern University’s Pritzker Law School (1982).
An active member of IBA, EELA and IPEBLA, Pieter also publishes extensively and is a regular conference speaker and commentator in the general and trade press on legal HR issues. He also undertakes teaching assignments as guest and practice lecturer at KUL Law School.
