Overview

Michał is a Senior Associate in our Real Estate team, based in Warsaw.

Michał has been advising Polish and international clients since 2005, and specialises in real estate transactions. He has conducted due diligence examinations of real properties and assisted clients with transactions involving the purchase or sale of real estate projects, commercialising office buildings and commercial centres, and negotiating lease agreements. He also assisted during various legal stages of the development process.   

He has extensive expertise in real property transactions, including projects related to logistics, production, warehouses, shopping centres, office buildings, undeveloped properties designated for residential purposes and hotels.  He has advised on asset and share deals, as well as transactions for the sale of enterprises. He prepared and negotiated tenancy agreements and leases for new and existing buildings.  

Michal supports clients with commercial law and M&A transactions, and advises during transformations, mergers and other types of companies' reorganisations. He has executed M&A transactions between exiting founders, investors from the same industry sectors and private equity funds. He has negotiated investment agreements, shareholders' agreements, transactional and financial documentation, and collaterals, as well as prepared merger control filings to the antimonopoly authority.   

He gained his experience while working for many years for one of the biggest international law firms in Poland, where he was a member of the German Desk. He also advised on current corporate matters, conducted court and enforcement proceedings, negotiated documents on establishing collateral, and prepared structural reorganisations of clients and/or their contractors. 

Michał graduated the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. 

He works in Polish, English and German.
