About Me

I am an associate in our Hamburg office and a member of the Commercial, Dispute Resolution and the Regulatory and Administrative practice groups, and advise German and international clients in renewables, mainly in the context of construction and operation of energy networks and in connection with complex infrastructure projects. My focus is on representing our clients in court and arbitration proceedings.

I am particularly interested in advising on energy projects, including any necessary subsequent dispute resolution. I have experience in wind and infrastructure projects, as well as projects in industrial plant construction. My clients include developers and operators from the energy and utility sector, plant and mechanical engineering and the automotive industry. I advise on the entire life cycle of a project, from the drafting and negotiation of the relevant contracts, through the implementation of the project and especially on dispute resolution accompanying the project.

Due to my doctoral thesis and experiences in the field of international arbitration, my focus is on representing our clients in court and arbitration proceedings. Based on numerous stays abroad during my legal studies and a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for comparative public law and international law, I have a special understanding of cross-border disputes between international parties. During my legal clerkship in globally active law firms in Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Singapore I was able to gain experience in numerous international conflicts in the energy sector.
