Kristy is a partner in our International HR Services Group, based in Sydney.
With over 15 years' experience in employment, industrial and discrimination law, Kristy applies her specialist legal knowledge in order to achieve practical and sustainable outcomes for her clients' businesses.
Her practice covers both contentious and non-contentious employment and industrial issues, including drafting of employment contracts and policies, management of poor performance and long term illness issues, employee/contractor distinctions and investigations by the FWO/ATO, litigation (including unfair dismissal, adverse action, breach of contract, restraint of trade), carrying out employer investigations and delivery of training programs.
She also advises on equal opportunity and discrimination issues including litigation and advice regarding implementation of anti-discrimination processes.
In the field of industrial law, Kristy has extensive experience regarding the implementation of industrial strategies (covering employment arrangements, union relationships and engagement with the workforce), assisting clients in drafting, negotiating and approving enterprise agreements, and industrial litigation (including industrial action and agreement disputes).
Kristy was admitted as a solicitor in NSW, Australia in 2000. She is admitted in the High and Federal Courts of Australia as well as the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
