With more than 15 years' of experience in intellectual property law, its protection and commercial use, particularly in trade mark related issues, I joined Bird & Bird's Prague team in May 2019.

Being a trade mark specialist, I specialise mainly in managing trade mark portfolios and advising on branding strategies for a wide range of clients, from individuals through to global firms. My experience also includes representing clients in non-contentious and contentious proceedings before the Czech Industrial Property Office and EUIPO. My advice also covers searching, licensing, contract drafting and enforcement of IP rights.

Having advised clients from a broad spectrum of business sectors such as automotive, fashion, finance, life science and health care, entertainment and sport, my aim is to provide them with solutions tailored to their individual needs and long-term business focus.

I am also active in charity work. Over the past 15 years, I have been assisting the Coeliac's Association of the Czech Republic with trade mark related issues. I am also the Czech delegate of the Association of European Coeliac Societies.

Having previously worked in a local Czech law firm, I felt it was time for me to move on in my professional career and the dynamic world of Bird & Bird felt like the right choice for me.
