She supports entrepreneurs in conducting opposition proceedings before the Polish Patent Office, court proceedings in the field of industrial property, copyright infringement and unfair competition. She represents clients before the Court of Arbitration operating at the Polish Chamber of Information Technology and Telecommunications, regarding the violation of trademark rights by the registration of internet domains.
She has experience in conducting due diligence of intellectual property rights, pharmaceutical and food law. Katarzyna advises on the internal restructuring of intellectual property rights, as well as on the acquisition of companies and assets (including IP).
Her area of expertise includes advising entrepreneurs from the food sector in terms of accordance with product labeling, as well as advertising law. She supports advertisers in proceedings before the Polish Advertising Standards Committee. Katarzyna drafts regulations related to competitions and promotions. She also advises on the organisation of promotional lotteries.
She has experience in preparing models of distribution for reimbursable medicinal products for pharmaceutical manufacturers and in advising distributors on regulatory issues related to pharmaceutical law.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, Katarzyna gained her professional experience in a renowned Polish law firm.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University.
