Jolie has experience in a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters in particular, capital markets (ranging from IPOs to privatisation exercises), private equity investments, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
Jolie is Counsel in the Corporate & Commercial practice group in the Singapore office.
Her experience includes involvement in and advice on a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters in particular, capital markets (ranging from IPOs to privatisation exercises), private equity investments, as well as private mergers and acquisitions.
In addition to general commercial legal advice to business functions, Jolie has also been involved in various corporate actions for listed companies including acquisitions/disposals of assets, share placement exercises, rights and warrants issues and interested person transactions.
Jolie’s understanding of the regulatory environment in Singapore also enables her to advise on the fund management and financial advisory licensing regime, restricted collective investment scheme offerings and the establishment of unit trusts in Singapore.
Jolie was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. She obtained her bachelor's degree in law at the National University of Singapore, where she spent time on exchange at the China University of Political Science and Law. She has also obtained a master of laws with a specialisation in cross border business and finance law in Asia from the Singapore Management University. Jolie is fluent in English and Mandarin, and has spent time in the Sydney office of Bird & Bird on a secondment.
