As an associate in the Tech Transactions team in our Commercial Group, I advise both UK based and international clients on a variety of technology focused contracts.

As an associate in our London Commercial Group I have experience working on projects across multiple jurisdictions mainly in the technology and retail industry sectors.

I qualified into the Commercial Group in London in 2016, and since then have worked with UK based and international clients on a range of projects in both the technology and retail sectors, assisting from very early 'principles' stages through to completion.

Through my work on varied commercial agreements, including software licensing, services and partnership agreements, I have gained experience in providing tailored, practical advice to clients in the wider context of their business and the international market.

I have a particular interest in e-commerce and the various agreements that are required by businesses to implement their e-commerce strategy. I have co-authored a chapter in The Franchise Law Review on e-commerce and Franchising.

Since joining Bird & Bird I have been fortunate to spend time on secondment with a number of clients, acting both as a member of the 'in house' legal function at an international retail brand as well as offering 'virtual' assistance for a global online marketplace.

I am passionate about diversity and inclusion in the legal sector and co-chair StandOUT, Bird & Bird's LGBTQ+ network.

  • Secondment with a leading global jewellery brand where I assisted with drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements and terms, from the company's website terms and conditions to agreements with retailers and distributors as well as for an international education programme.
  • Advising a global defence company on multi-billion pound contracts for the build and delivery of naval vessels, working closely with the client's legal and commercial teams.
