I was involved in setting up the Warsaw office in 2008, where I worked as head of Privacy & Data Protection for Poland until 2013 until leaving for private practice. I re-joined the firm in 2018. My professional life is not only limited to working externally as a lawyer in a firm. I've also worked as an in-house lawyer and a data protection officer (DPO) which allows me to bring a new, internal perspective to best respond to Bird & Bird clients' needs. I have worked intensely on GDPR projects for local and international organisations, advising on business models and giving strategic advice to minimise risk. Over the years, I have supported clients from almost all sectors. I'm passionate about technology, management of information, and security, as it is strongly related to my professional expertise. So far, I've had the chance to work on many exciting projects involving GDPR compliance and designing marketing strategies and campaigns, information society services, fintech, or cloud computing services, as well as supporting clients in their day-to-day commercial projects including the negotiation of core business agreements in relation to their privacy aspects, and advising extensively in HR matters. I'm proud to be appreciated by my clients, which has been reflected in rankings such as Legal 500 EMEA, where I've been ranked as a leading individual. What I most appreciate about my work at Bird & Bird is the openness to collaboration and the knowledge sharing environment, where I have the opportunity to work closely with DP experts around the globe. Our international team knows how to combine hard and effective work with a passion for law and fun.
