Our Global Aircraft Finance team has again been recognised in the influential Airfinance Journal Legal Survey 2020:

  • 3rd on operating leases globally
  • 4th on guaranteed financing globally
  • 4th in Asia Pacific for aircraft finance transactions
  • 5th in the Middle East for aircraft finance transactions
  • 6th among all law firms globally

The survey attributes points for the overall number of qualifying aircraft finance & leasing deals during the 2019 calendar year worked on by law firms across the globe. Deal complexity element is factored in, demonstrating that this is not just a numbers game but reflective of the real quality in the market.
Richard Sharman, Partner in London, responds to the announcement of the results:

"This achievement is well-deserved and follows a busy year. It's a result of our continuing commitment to the highest quality service across our global network, and the trust that our market-leading clients place in our team."

Matthias Winter, Partner in Frankfurt, adds:

"During difficult times for sector these results dating from the pre-Covid-19 time encourage and motivate us to continue our involvement in the sector to work alongside our clients during the current period. It is a truly global sector and we are very happy that the results reflect our approach of a truly integrated global law firm with a global team spirit.”

Leo Fattorini, Partner, based in Singapore, comments:

“The results for Asia-Pacific in particular are enormously satisfying. The team works incredibly hard for our terrific clients, and we're delighted to be recognised in this way. Well done everyone!”
