Pre-season football tours in Asia aren't typically known for their eye-catching headlines or strong media scrutiny. There are have been some recent debacles over washed out pitches and sub-par poor training facilities, but more usually they are a straightforward (if sometimes logistically challenging) way for clubs and players to gain some goodwill in under-served markets.
