I am a senior associate in our Corporate and M&A group in Helsinki, where I work with our domestic and international clients on venture capital, corporate law and mergers and acquisitions matters.

International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Aibidia, a Finnish fintech company, on its successful $28 million Series B funding round.

Aibidia has established itself as a critical component of the tax tech stack for multinational companies, providing the platform to manage global transfer pricing and cross-border tax compliance through AI-powered technology.

The round was led by Activant alongside participation from existing investors, DN Capital, FPV and Icebreaker.vc. The new funding will enable Aibidia to expand its tax technology operations in the US market.

Our advisory team, led by partner Kimmo Reina (Corporate) together with associate Miika Hiidenhovi (Corporate), advised Aibidia on all legal aspects of the funding round. The transaction underscores Bird & Bird’s strength in advising high-growth technology companies on cross-border VC financing.
