Bird & Bird advised Sydev on its partnership with Turenne Emergence

International law firm Bird & Bird has advised Sydev, a publisher of management software for technical building professionals, on its minority investment into Turenne Emergence for approximately €10 million. This was via its Emergence II vehicle, dedicated to software and environmental services companies.

This investment marks the start of a new phase of growth for Sydev, which aims to pursue its development by targeting new markets and continuing to enhance its TAMZAG platform for all building trades.

Founded more than 25 years ago, the Grenoble-based software publisher targets both SMEs and major accounts such as Vinci, Equans (Bouygues), Spie Batignolles and Eiffage, and offers a suite of five software applications that deliver significant productivity gains and greater responsiveness in managing their customers' commercial and management issues. After achieving sales of €6.7 million in 2023, Sydev is forecasting sales of €8 million in 2024, thanks to a business model that is currently based solely on SaaS.

The Bird & Bird team assisting Sydev comprised of partner David Malcoiffe, associate Flavie Malval Le Roux and paralegal Georges Vasiliev.

Lamartine Conseil advised Turenne Emergence with a team consisting of partner Gary Lévy, and associates Raphaël Saulneron and Mélissa Munoz.
