Bird & Bird grows it’s Corporate practice with the arrival of M&A partner Mette Mernø Hans Jakobsen in Copenhagen

With over 15 years’ experience advising on large and high-profile transactions in the Danish and international market, Mette joins Bird & Bird from Accura. Specialising in project-based M&A transactions and corporate matters, she advises clients throughout the M&A process including project managing, drafting and negotiating contracts for both local and cross-border transactions. Mette primarily works with private equity funds, technology and IP-driven businesses and is also a trusted advisor for several clients, providing strategic and commercial advice, as well as board member at e.g. OperaSPORT.

Mette’s appointment is a key part of Bird & Bird’s strategy for the international Corporate practice: To further strengthen the practice and build the firm’s M&A capabilities as part of a wider Nordic offering, particularly in the technology sector.
