I'm the global head of our International Retail & Consumer sector group. As a partner in our international Commercial group in London, I work primarily with retail & consumer focussed businesses on their domestic and international growth and expansion strategies.

WeWork, the global space community and services company, invited 30 legal advisors and alternative legal service providers from around the world to apply to be a part of its Legal Panel. The aim was to appoint a panel of preferred legal partners to advise WeWork during the next chapter of the company’s growth.

The Bird & Bird team will advise WeWork on issues relating to commercial, corporate, data privacy and cyber security matters. The work will be led by the co-head of the international Retail & Consumer sector group at Bird & Bird Graeme Payne (Commercial, London) and assisted by partners Ian Edwards (Commercial, London), Gabriel Voisin (Privacy & Data Protection, London) and Shing Lo (Corporate, London).

Graeme Payne, co-head of the international Retail & Consumer sector group at Bird & Bird says: "We are delighted to be selected to join the WeWork EMEA Legal Panel. The company's strong focus around using technology innovatively is perfectly in line with Bird & Bird's strategy. We look forward to supporting the team at WeWork in the months ahead."
