Bird & Bird today boosts its international Dispute Resolution Group with the appointment of Adam Kowalczyk as partner in Warsaw.
Adam is an experienced litigation lawyer and joins from PwC Legal where he was head of litigation, having moved from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP as a senior managing associate. He advises clients on heavyweight commercial and regulatory disputes, compliance and investigations, and has considerable experience in international arbitration proceedings. Adam will work closely with the firm's Financial Services and Automotive sector groups having previously advised clients in over 100 high-profile disputes mainly within the energy, financial and transportation sectors. Adam will be an integral part of the Dispute Resolution team in Warsaw, and joins with senior associate Grzegorz Jan Kostrzewa and associate Katarzyna Czech from PwC Legal.
