Bird & Bird is delighted to announce that London Partner David Bintliff has relocated to the UAE to head our Technology & Communications and Media, Entertainment & Sports Groups in the Middle East.
Praised by clients for his relationship skills, the 'exceptional' David Bintliff is consistently ranked as an expert advisor on growth and innovation platforms and projects in the digital world.
David offers specific technical industry knowledge and expertise in the Digital, Technology, Sport & Media sectors with a particular focus on digital transformation and the interplay between content and technology. He has advised clients in the MENA region for over 10 years, having previously worked in our Abu Dhabi office, supporting the growth of the MES team in the region.
During his time in the UK, David led the growth of the commercial digital practice to UK Tier 1 (Legal 500 UK 2017). Legal 500 acknowledges David as a "superstar", and Chambers & Partner, 2017 has described "the 'absolutely outstanding' David Bintliff as a "specialist in online content and digital media. He acts for innovative media start-ups and global companies on commercial and IP matters, and advises on all aspects of content delivery".
