Bird & Bird is pleased to announce the appointment of Niels Lutzhöft as a new partner in its global Commercial practice group, based in Frankfurt.
Niels joins from Gleiss Lutz, where he spent seven years including three as Associate Partner. He previously worked at Hogan & Hartson Raue in Berlin, and has also been a radio and television journalist at an international broadcasting company. Additionally, he has worked as a freelance writer for national newspapers.
Niels specialises in commercial, regulatory, competition and copyright law and primarily advises companies from the media, technology & communications and retail & consumer sectors. He advises and represents companies in advertising, product design and marketing disputes, as well as copyright and media law cases before civil and administrative courts.
