Better data from metadata in the UK music industry? A look behind the streams
On 31 May 2023, the UK Intellectual Property office (UK IPO) published the “UK Industry Agreement on Music Streaming Metadata”. The agreement records voluntary commitments made by the UK music industry to improve music streaming metadata. The UK IPO also announced the establishment of a UK government working group on creator remuneration.
