I am a partner in our Dispute Resolution Group in Paris, the head of our Arbitration Department in France and member of our DR practice in the UAE (and soon KSA), where I offer our clients longstanding and cross-border expertise in managing international disputes and arbitrations.

Head of French Arbitration, Jalal El Ahdab, has created a video explaining the basics of international arbitration in simplified terms, or "to my grandma".

He explains: "As a very curious woman, my grandmother was always eager to understand international arbitration, believing that an arbitrator was a whistleblower running around a football pitch, dressed in black. So, this is how I used to tell her about this fascinating subject, which involves history, justice, trade, efficiency and so much more."
