Fourth successful edition of Dutch Press & Publishers Seminar

The yearly Press & Publishers Seminar in The Hague was once again a great success. On-topic presentations (Fake news!), an interesting and diverse group of participants and an inspiring venue. Like each year, the event was held in trendy Café-Restaurant Dauphine in Amsterdam.

Over 60 attendees were present from a variety of companies.

Olaf Trojan & Sonja van Harten kicked off the seminar with their presentation named It's fake! They discussed (among others) accountability for fake news and notice and take down for fake news. The second presentation was led by Wieke During and Thijs van den Heuvel and covered the legal do's and don'ts of linking online. Quirine Tjeenk Willink and Berend van der Eijk gave the last presentation. They talked about Big Brother in the world of data protection.

Olaf Trojan, the event's initiator, commented: "It's great to see how this event has grown into a must go event for the media industry. This year we welcomed a record number of participants all across the board. A great way to introduce our new data protection expert Quirine Tjeenk Willink and to showcase the strengths of the tier 1 Dutch media team."
