Live Forum: COVID-19 Response to Product Sourcing Requirements

The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented demand for medical masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). To maintain sufficient supply, governments in Asia Pacific (APAC) have enacted emergency legislation that impacts product regulation and import and export requirements.

We will be conducting a live forum on "COVID-19: Current regulatory landscape for medical products in APAC". Our regional panel, comprising of Alison Wong (Head of Life Sciences APAC/Partner, Hong Kong & China), Anan Sivananthan (Partner, Singapore), Lynne Lewis (Partner, Sydney), and Dr Anthony Wilkinson (Registered Foreign Lawyer, Hong Kong) will offer their perspectives on the emergency regulations enacted in response to COVID-19.

We will help you navigate these regulatory provisions by speaking with experts from each region to cover:

  • What changes have been implemented on the manufacturing, distribution, sourcing on PPE and other products for COVID-19
  • What this means on a practical level for product registration and for import/export
  • Case examples

As we would like to make the forum interactive, you will be able to ask questions during the forum through a chat box function, where we will pick up as many questions from the participants on these topics as time allows.
