Bird & Bird's Public Procurement webinar series 2020/2021

Public and utilities procurement continues to be a fast-moving area in which legal, political and practical developments continuously impact and update practice. Keeping on top of these developments poses a challenge for contracting authorities and regulated utilities, but at the same time not doing so risks losing the opportunities that these changes can often present.

On top of this, public procurement is likely to be a topic of particular interest and scrutiny once the UK comes out of the so-called ‘transition period’ at the end of December 2020. Depending on how the UK/EU trade negotiations conclude, procurement may well be an area in which the UK Government sees real benefit in ‘diverging’ from our EU partners. Indeed, we await the publication of a Government Green Paper on this very issue.

Join our experts for a series of webinars addressing topical issues in procurement law. Each session will cover a different issue that our lawyers are increasingly asked to advise on, and will consider what a possible new regime might look like going forward. The sessions will be particularly relevant to public sector/utility procurement practitioners and lawyers.
