APAC Data Protection Q&A: Live Forum on COVID-19

From split team operations, daily temperature checks, supply chain issues and travel restrictions, the challenges brought about by the virus may seem daunting. This webinar is one in a series that Bird & Bird will be delivering to help you navigate the diverse issues that have arisen with the spread of COVID-19.

In this addition, we will be conducting a live forum on Data Privacy in the time of COVID-19. Our regional panel, comprising of Hamish Fraser (Partner, Sydney office), Jeremy Tan (Partner, Singapore office), Clarice Yue (Counsel, Hong Kong office) will offer different perspectives on how the data privacy laws in the APAC region and Jeannette Tam (Senior Managing Associate, Hong Kong office) will address the following APAC general data privacy and employment-related privacy issues:

• Issues relating to collection and processing of personal data for contact tracing and containment
• The key data protection issues relating to sharing and disclosure of personal data relating to COVID-19
• Cross border transfers of sensitive personal data within your organisation
