• GDPRの適用開始から5年が経過しようとする今、JETRO様と共催で、GDPR対応の基礎とUKとEUにおける最新の実務動向を解説するセミナーを2023年5月17日に開催いたしました。改めてGDPRの基礎的な仕組みを振り返りながら、UK・EUにおける直近の重要な執行事例やAIをめぐる当局の動向、UKのデータ保護法を改正するData Protection & Digital Information (No.2) Billの法案の内容など、UK・EUにおけるデータプロテクションの最新の実務動向について解説いたしました。
• EN: On 17th May 2023, in collaboration with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), we organised a seminar, discussing the foundational aspects of GDPR compliance and providing insights into the latest practical trends in the UK and EU, as we approach the five-year mark since the GDPR's implementation. Gabriel Voisin and Kohei Wachi provided insights into the foundational aspects of the GDPR, focusing on its significance for Japanese companies. The seminar also highlighted noteworthy enforcement cases in both the UK and EU. Additionally, the seminar delved into the latest developments in data protection, including a discussion on the legislative proposals of the Data Protection & Digital Information (No.2) Bill.
