Business visitor visa

Allows a visa holder to stay in Australia for up to 3 months and:

  • make general business or employment enquiries;
  • negotiate contracts;
  • take part in a conference or trade fair.

The cost of this visa is AUD 190.

Temporary skill shortage visa

This visa enables employers to address labour shortages by bringing in skilled workers where employers can't source an appropriately skilled Australian worker. Visa holders can stay for up to 2 years under the short term stream and 4 years under the medium term stream.

The cost of the TSS visas range from AUD 1,455 to AUD 3,035 depending on the stream.

Temporary Work (Short Stay Specialist) visa

The Highly Specialised Work stream of this temporary visa lets applicants do short-term, highly specialised work in Australia. It is suitable if an individual has specialised skills, knowledge or experience not generally available in Australia. Generally, a stay is for between 3 and 6 months.

The cost of this visa is AUD 405.

Working holiday visa

This visa lets people 18 to 30 years old (or 35 years old for some countries) have their first extended holiday in Australia and work here to help fund their trip. Typically, an employee can work for up to 6 months for one employer.

The cost of this visa is AUD 635.

eVisitor Visa

This visa allows a visa holder to visit Australia as often as they wish within a 12-month period. Visa holders can stay up to 3 months each time they enter Australia.

The visa holder can:

  • make general business or employment enquiries;
  • investigate, negotiate, enter into or review a business contract;
  • conduct activities as part of an official government visit; or
  • take part in a conference, trade fair or seminar. The organisers can't pay you to take part.

Visa holders cannot:

  • work for or provide services to a business or organisation based in Australia; or
  • sell goods or services directly to the public.

The eVisitor visa is free.


Employment Immigration

Employer nomination scheme

This allows a visa holder to live, work and study in Australia indefinitely, sponsor eligible family members to come to Australia and apply for Australian citizenship, if eligible. An applicant must:

  • be under 45 years of age when they apply;
  • hold a subclass 457, TSS or related Bridging visa A, B or C;
  • usually, have worked for their employer for at least 2 years full time while holding a subclass 457 or TSS visa; and
  • have been nominated by an Australian employer whose nomination was approved in the 6 months before you apply.

The cost of this visa is AUD 4,640.

Global talent visa

This allows a visa holder to stay in Australia permanently. Visa holders must have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in one of the following areas:

  • a profession;
  • a sport;
  • the arts; and
  • academia and research.

The cost of this visa is AUD 4,710.
