Status

The draft act on digital economy (“Draft Act”) has been approved by the government and submitted to the legislative process in the Czech Parliament. The Draft Act has progressed further in the legislative process. It passed both the general and detailed debate in the second reading in the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic on 13 March 2025. The process now continues with the consideration of proposed amendments. If the Draft Act is approved in the third reading, it will be submitted to the Senate of the Czech Republic.
