Stage of Implementation

In a very early stage. In a policy statement dated 28 September 2022, the Minister of External Affairs declared that the COVID-19 crisis has led to an accumulation of delays to national legislation, among which is the legislation to implement the Directive. The draft legislation still needs to be submitted to Parliament by the Minister of the Economy.
