About Me

I am a senior associate in our International Public Procurement Group in Denmark with extensive experience in procurement and contract law, specialising in IT law. My knowledge and practical experience make me the ideal choice for public and private organisations seeking guidance in IT procurement.

With a Master of Laws (cand.jur.), IT contract manager certification, attorney qualification, certification as an IT Attorney from The Association of Danish IT Attorneys, and a certification as a mediator from The Association of Danish Law Firms, I possess a solid academic and theoretical foundation. Over the past 13+ years, I have advised on complex IT contracts in the public sector, particularly within the framework of EU procurement regulations and other related legal areas. I offer a wide range of IT legal and procurement advisory services, including project management of large IT projects, contract drafting, negotiations, contract management, and dispute resolution.

I primarily serve municipal, regional, and state authorities as well as public sector organisations regarding the procurement of IT systems in sectors such as health, education, transport, tourism, and utilities. Additionally, I have experience advising private companies operating in the public market. My deep understanding of politically governed organisations comes from secondments to public clients and my time as a public employee, providing me with unique insights into public IT investments and digital transformation.

Throughout various projects, I have developed strong competencies in development agreements, service and maintenance agreements, operational agreements, and license agreements. I have extensive experience with registry solutions and notably enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and CMS systems.

My expertise in the IT field, including digital transformation, IT procurement, process automation, Internet of Things (IoT), and Cloud Computing, benefits my clients. I have successfully led large IT projects, ensuring clear and precise IT technical, security, and legal requirements in contracts.

Due to my passion for IT law and sustainable IT investments, I occasionally teach these subjects, focusing on requirements and technologies that reduce the climate and environmental footprint. I am responsible for Bird & Bird's Danish contribution to our international quarterly newsletter 'International Procurement Post' and regularly author articles on public procurement, green transition, and sustainable software.

My key competencies are:
- Advising on IT procurement and IT contract law
- Identifying and addressing clients' commercial needs
- Project management and negotiations
- Contract management and dispute resolution
- Sustainable IT investments and digital transformation
- Providing professional training and article writing in the IT field
