About Me

I am a corporate lawyer based in Singapore and I specialise in complex cross-border M&A deals (particularly around Southeast Asia) and Warranty and Indemnity (W&I) insurance.

Having spent a significant portion of my career in Singapore, I have worked on and successfully executed deals in numerous sectors (including the financial services and energy and utilities sectors) across all of Southeast Asia and the wider region.

This experience has provided me with intimate knowledge of this region's many unique traits and complexities when it comes to getting deals done and I really enjoy being able to leverage that to help guide clients and financial advisors through to closing (whether it's an acquisition, disposal, auction, joint venture, strategic alliance or helping W&I underwriters vet deals they are keen to insure).

I have lived and worked in New Zealand, London and Singapore in both in-house and private practice roles. My time as an in-house lawyer gave me invaluable experience in what it is like to be a client and taught me the importance of being efficient, commercial and good at problem-solving. My time in private practice has allowed me to further practice and develop these skills and taught me the value of being a proactive project manager in my role as a lawyer. All of these lessons continue to guide my approach and I keep these insights at the core of how I work and the Legal500 directory has recognised me for this work.
