Rory Coutts

I am an associate in our Commercial Group, and I advise clients in the technology and communications sector.

I advise on a range of commercial and regulatory matters in the technology and communications sector. I specialise in digital and communications regulation, online content, ePrivacy and data protection. I have worked on a number of international projects involving new and innovative technologies often dealing with telecoms regulation, ePrivacy and UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation. Whilst training at Bird & Bird I also gained experience in our Data Protection, IP and Corporate teams.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird I worked in public affairs in Brussels and London, advising tech sector clients on EU/UK politics and regulation. I have also continued to work on policy related matters at Bird & Bird.
