Mirja Sikander

I am a banking and finance lawyer based in our Stockholm office. I am qualified in both Sweden and Finland, and have over 16 years of experience with financing transactions in both countries.

My practice focuses on all aspects of debt finance. I advise lenders, borrowers and other stakeholders in various cross-border and domestic debt financing and debt capital market transactions such as investment grade, leveraged grade/acquisition and real estate finance, as well as factorings, restructurings and bond financing.

Further, I have extensive experience in advising on various renewable energy projects such as wind farm financing and solar panel financing as well as various infrastructure related financing transactions.

Throughout my career I have received positive feedback on my ability to lead projects with tight deadlines yet the same time creating a calm and positive atmosphere and my ability to explain complex legal matters in a simple and logical manner.

I find genuine enjoyment in my work, particularly in addressing finance law matters and working with clients, and I am constantly seeking opportunities to expand my expertise and tackle new challenges. Being a dual qualified lawyer, I offer counsel in finance transactions involving both Sweden and Finland.
