About Me

I am a partner in our international Intellectual Property Group and co-head of our International Life Sciences & Healthcare Group. I'm based in London.

As a partner in our Intellectual Property Group, I specialise in patent litigation and advise in the area of pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, biotechnology (including in food), chemicals and medical devices. This includes advising on AI patents in the Life Sciences sector.

My interests and experience also extend to a diverse range of technical fields including the financial services sector.

In my role as co-head of our International Life Sciences & Healthcare Group, I take pride in ensuring that clients find the right adviser from our specialist group comprising over 250 life sciences and healthcare lawyers across our international offices.

In the course of over 25 years of experience of patent litigation, I have been involved in devising successful litigation strategies and co-ordinating complex multi-jurisdictional disputes for clients. I am keen to advance the use of technology to improve the delivery of these services to clients and have developed various IT solutions to improve information exchange and make significant improvements to productivity. In particular, I have led a project to develop an on-line patent litigation management tool that allows clients immediate access to the status of all of their litigation, efficient communication of instructions and budget control while at the same time reducing the overall cost of the litigation.

I have written and spoken on a number of IP topics, and I am an associate of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and a member of the Law Society of Ireland.
