I am an associate in the Bird & Bird Sydney office working across the Tech & Comms, Commercial and Corporate Groups and specialising in data & privacy regulation.

I am passionate about facilitating best practice management of data and work for both local and multi-jurisdictional clients breaking new ground with disruptive technologies on data protection, technology and media disputes, and commercial contracting. In doing so, I develop their practices and procedures and ensure they are compliant with the current regulatory landscapes.

I have advised on numerous commercial projects, including assisting clients to re-work their data management and IP ownership practices; drafting data sharing arrangements; undertaking privacy and commercial due diligence for transactional matters; providing regulatory advice; preparing GDPR compliant data transfer impact assessments; preparing privacy impact assessments; and commercial contracting and negotiations.

With a keen interest in data regulation, I maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory landscapes of our international clients, particularly in relation to APAC and EU data laws. This ensures I can prioritise compliance and cohesion when managing multi-jurisdictional data flows and privacy compliance.
