Lubomír Brecka

I'm an associate in our Corporate & Commercial and Banking & Finance Groups based in Prague.

My main focus is general commercial, corporate and M&A law, with an emphasis on securities, banking & finance and capital markets law.

What I offer our clients is broad experience in corporate and commercial work, which spans across day-to-day corporate support, commercial and contractual advisory services to complex M&A transactions - mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, disposals, venture capital and strategic investors entries as well as financial aspects of the transactions e.g. financing, refinancing, debt financing and project finance related issues and complete post acquisition work. I am also responsible for representing our clients in dispute resolution cases should they arise from any of our corporate, commercial or financial matters.

The clients I support vary from local companies to large international corporations from manufacturing, retail & consumer, information technology, healthcare and energy industries. Most of our work has a cross-border element which gives me an opportunity to work closely with our colleagues from within the network.

Before joining Bird & Bird I worked in a local Czech law firm in Prague.
