Laura Goold

I am an associate in our Privacy and Data Protection Group, based in London. I advise UK and international clients on technology, data protection and privacy issues.

My work covers all aspects of data protection law, including advice on DPIAs, privacy and cookie notices, data subject rights (including DSARs), data processing and data sharing agreements, enforcement action, international transfers and data breach incidents.

I have assisted clients in a range of sectors including media and entertainment (with a particular interest in gaming), technology and retail. I have undertaken a client secondment with an international media company headquartered in the US.

• Advising on data subject rights including drafting policies, providing training and reviewing and drafting responses to data subject access requests.
• Assisting with BCR projects and intragroup agreements.
• Drafting responses to regulatory investigations and complaints from individuals.
• Reviewing and drafting DPIAs on the use of new technologies like AI or the implementation of workplace monitoring solutions.
