Krzysztof Wisniewski

I am a senior associate in the Finance and Financial Regulation team specialising in investment financing transactions.

I have been advising both Polish and non-Polish clients since 2016, focusing on financial and banking law, debt securities and corporate law. I have extensive experience in providing legal assistance to financial institutions, borrowers and bond issuers.

I specialise in investment financing transactions. During my years of experience, I have advised on numerous financing transactions relating to real estate, energy projects, acquisitions and leveraged buy-outs involving the purchase of shares in companies limited by shares. I participate in debt refinancing transactions and intra-group reorganisations, advise on designing corporate and municipal bond programmes as well as on the placement of bonds and participate in debt sale transactions and business restructurings.

In addition, I assist banks and lending institutions with regulatory matters, including the combatting of money laundering.

I represent funds and start-ups in venture capital transactions and participate in M&A projects, managing and preparing due diligence reports.

I deliver trainings and workshops on financial law and selected aspects of financing transactions.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I gained professional experience working in the banking and finance teams of several renowned international law firms.
