Jennika Sucksdorff

I work as an associate in our Intellectual Property group in Helsinki, where I advise local and international clients on a variety of intellectual property related matters.

I started working at Bird & Bird after graduating from the University of Helsinki. Before graduating I gained practical work experience from both the private and public sector, by working as a trainee in other major business law firms in Helsinki and in the public sector at the Ministry of Transport and Communications. In my studies I mainly focused on intellectual property law.

I advise our clients on a wide range of matters relating to various intellectual property rights, consumer protection and marketing. I am also particularly interested in the effects of the technological change, which provides for new interesting legal questions to consider in the increasingly complex operating environment.

I am bilingual and speak both Finnish and Swedish as my native languages. I also work fluently in English.
