Gloria Priego

I'm an associate in Bird & Bird's Finance & Financial Regulation department in the Madrid office.

I specialise in providing legal advice on financial and banking law.

As a member of the Bird & Bird team, I provide legal advice to investment funds, banks and corporations, both national and international, on financial and banking law issues in a wide range of matters, of which I would particularly highlight the real estate sector. In addition, I am involved in advising on regulatory matters.

I advise on domestic and cross-border transactions, providing full advice in both Spanish and English.
Before joining Bird & Bird, I started my professional career in an international Spanish firm, where I was involved in advising mainly companies and banks in the energy and real estate sector.

I have been involved in a variety of transactions, including sale and purchase operations, financing and re-financing transactions, and project finance, among others, at different stages.

Additionally, I have a special interest in new technologies and business & data analytics, which I try to translate through the development of projects of automation and optimisation of resources and processes.
