Filip Windak

I work as an associate in the Finance & Financial Regulation team in Warsaw.

I specialise in regulatory advice for financial institutions, focusing on cryptocurrency companies (including exchanges and issuers of tokens) and FinTech companies.

I have many years of experience advising in the dynamic area of the laws that regulate the financial markets, such as the MiCA, AML, PSD, CRD, CRR and MiFID.

I advise start-ups and large international institutions on entering the Polish market.

I also put my knowledge and experience to use as a member of various expert groups, deliver lectures and trainings, and have authored many publications, including a commentary to the Act on Payment Services.

I also advise both financing parties and borrowers on financing transactions.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I gained experience in several international law firms.
