Elin Sundblad

As an associate in our Corporate practice in Stockholm, I assist our Swedish and international clients on both domestic and cross-border transactions, including all aspects of private mergers and acquisitions and other corporate law matters. I also have experience in arrangements related to finance and financial regulation.

I have a Master of Laws degree from Lund University. In addition, I have studied International and European business law at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. I have also undertaken supplementing studies at the University of Turku.

I joined Bird & Bird in 2021 having been attracted to the firm by its international profile and sectoral focus. During my studies, prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked as a trainee at an interest organization for the agriculture and forestry industry in Brussels, as an intern and then as a court clerk at Lund District Court and as a legal assistant at a smaller law firm in Malmö that specializes in procedural law and disputes.

Due to my Finnish background and language skills, I have a good understanding of the Nordic market. I can advise our Finnish clients operating in Sweden as well as serving as a link to Finland for our Swedish clients.

I am a qualified lawyer in both Sweden and Finland.
