As a counsel in our Intellectual Property practice in Milan, my expertise focuses on new technologies, copyright, related rights of performers, producers and broadcasters, image rights, advertising, trademarks, design, trade secrets and plant variety, assisting our Italian and international clients with contentious and non-contentious matters.
My continued interest in books, songs, movies, art and technological development has led me to specialise in the media, entertainment and new technologies sectors with particular reference to web reputation, ISP liability, copyright levy, collecting societies, software, data base, apps, blockchain, videogames, TV format, audio visual works, movies, TV programmes, songs and publishing.
I also assist clients on works of art, design, advertising, trade secrets, trademarks, plant variety and tourism law in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
Since joining Bird & Bird in 2004, I have acquired in-depth knowledge of the relevant industries necessary to understand my clients' needs. I have developed a significant capacity to work across matters involving intellectual property (corporate, employment, banking and tax), as well as cross selling projects.
I have been teaching masters and post-graduate courses at the Università Ca' Foscari in Venice. I am a lecturer for the Università di Pavia and speak at seminars and conferences on intellectual property. I have lectured at the Università di Pavia in tourism law for several years.
